On November 3, 2013 Bruce Johnson, a real estate sales representative and Hall of Fame winner from RE/MAX Wasaga Beach, Ontario, departed with his 12-year-old daughter on a motorcycle journey inspired by a travel wish. It was a simple wish made 2 years earlier by his daughter, Holly Johnson, to travel to Costa Rica. A simple wish that turned into a fundraising effort to benefit thousands of children.

Inspired by the passing of his first daughter, Alyssa Rae, who died after only 20 days of life at Toronto’s SickKids hospital, Bruce made a goal to raise $25,000 for Children’s Miracle Network. The Johnson’s journey took them down the East Coast, through 9 countries and 35 RE/MAX offices.
